Ohad is owned by its senior executives and by partners of Carey Olsen, one of the largest law firms in the Channel Islands. It is affiliated to the Dominion group of companies which has been undertaking, from Jersey, services similar to those which Ohad is offering from Bahrain.
Ohad’s private ownership allows it to operate independently from banks and other financial institutions. Financial institutions often need to outsource certain functions (e.g. administrator, registrar, custodian, trustee, external directors, etc.) for investment funds and capital markets structures. They need to do this to avoid potential internal conflicts that may arise. However they may also be reluctant to place such work with a service provider that is linked to a rival institution. Ohad values, and intends to maintain, its independence from any institution. The confidentiality of individual relationships is ensured.
